Daughter Holds a Contest To See Which Of Her Parents Know Her The Best. The Results Were Hilarious
The generational gap between parents and children can at times make it hard for them to understand each other. The belief that a mother knows her child better as compared to the father has also been popular for a while. But as part of a new trend, TikTok creators are pulling their parents in front of the camera and asking them a series of questions about their children. TikTok creator Ava (@an1cole33) created a similar video to test her parents but there was a little cheating involved and it turned into a prank.
"Asking my parents questions about myself but I already told my dad the answers," said the text on Ava's video. The user started by asking her parents to guess her favorite color, and her dad answered "light pink" within seconds. But Ava's mom looked surprised and said that she would have picked blue instead. Ava then asks her parents about her favorite dessert and both the parents chime in to say "creme brulee" at the same time. The next question was her favorite movie and when her mom got it wrong once again she started wondering if the game was rigged.
The next question was about the sorority Ava is a part of and once again both her mom and dad got it right. When she asked them about her favorite place to shop, her dad said that she shops online while her mom said Lululemon. Following confusion and disagreement between them, Ava's mom slowly started to guess that there was something fishy in the whole contest. The girl asks them about her favorite show, her favorite housewife on The Real Housewives, and her favorite country singer as well. Her dad answers all of them correctly as expected and her mom protests that "he doesn't know anything about her."
Ava's mom is seen getting agitated as she continues with her questions. When Ava finally asks them about her favorite YouTuber, her mom jumps up and confidently claims that her father has no idea who she watches on YouTube. However, her dad follows the plan and says Alisha Marie. Ava's mom is visibly shocked and upset for not knowing much about her daughter when the father-daughter duo reveals that her dad saved all the answers on his phone and he had "studied hard and it was all just a prank." The mother can be seen on the brink of tears after the prank and this evoked emotional comments from users.
@dreamystars757 commented: "The way he justifies the reason why he knows the answers after everyone." @emoohufflepuff noted: "Often father and daughter look down on mother together. They exchange meaningful glances when she misses a point.” @hola.michelle remarked: "I feel bad for Mama she really felt disconnected from you and it tore her up." @irmadizz quipped: "She was upset at the thought of not knowing you well. That’s so sweet I’m legit about to cry." @taleena joked: "If I did this to my parents, my dad would forget the answers I told him." @jimbonguyen added: "Mom’s intuition kicked in and was correct, even if she didn’t realize it."
