This restaurant customer did not expect what he was dealing with when he gave an unknown woman a hard time.

Embarrassment, Merriam-Webster explains, is a feeling or showing a state of self-conscious confusion and distress. But this man apparently did not have any when he decided to ask a woman about a rock band whose name was printed on her T-shirt. While that may sound like a common misogynistic approach that women routinely endure, it was a big mistake this time. He barely knew who he was talking to and blatantly asked the woman to name three songs of the band. What followed was unexpected. A viral video on TikTok shared by a page (@whatisrocknroll) showed the woman struck in disbelief as she claimed how the man attempted to ruin her day.

Jo Cotrotsou, the lead vocalist of Bad Habits, a Greek indie rock band, described how she was sitting at a restaurant when the man popped up to challenge her. “Guys, I was casually waiting for my food wearing my band's merch and a guy came up and asked to name three songs,” she claimed in the video, which has been viewed 2.5 million times. In the video, she rocked a sleeveless black top with “Bad Habits” written on it, which probably urged the man in question to approach her, though, unreasonably.

She reacted to the awkward encounter on the internet with a look of disappointment as she sat with crossed arms with one hand on her chin. “I don’t know how I should feel about this,” Cotrotsou stated in the caption. She then briefly touched her nose, typical of being annoyed, and brushed it off with a giggle. The lead vocalist made the most out of the incident with the viral clip, which derived a roar of comments from fans and viewers. There was a lot of discussion about what could've been the most appropriate reaction from the singer for the overconfident man

“Oh please you wouldn’t recognize the band if they’d be sitting in front of you’ followed by the most intense stare ever,” wrote a person (@akromatje) in support of the band. While another TikTok user (@anastasiawindle) said, “You should have said, ‘Name the band members.’” Someone else (@rachelmdoran) chimed, “I hope he sees this and gets so embarrassed he never asks anyone to name 3 songs again.” A netizen (@ashross1205) recalled a similar incident, and wrote, “I wore a Nirvana shirt to my kid’s school and their principal did this.” Whereas, a curious viewer (@manon2v) wanted to “know” how the singer actually replied to the man.

The band, Bad Habits, originally formed in Athens in 2020 and specializes in the Rock & Roll genre. Other members of the band include Ellie on bass and vocals, Sprios on the guitar, Severin as the lead guitarist, and Apostol on the drums. At present, the rock band has about 15,000 followers on TikTok while Crototsou boasts 17,000 followers on social media. Some of their popular songs include, On The Run, Let it Roll, and Under The Sun. Probably, if the man decides to remove his macho-tinted glasses he would realize how far the world has come and it’s not the 1950s. Women actually go out and do things unimaginable, and become pioneers in professional fields.
