To most children, their fathers are their real-life superheroes, who fulfill all their dreams even before they are shared. Apart from providing financial security, a father also looks after his family's overall well-being, ensuring that they feel safe, secure, and, most importantly, loved at all times. Now imagine if your daddy-dearest not only embodies all the admirable qualities of your favorite fictional character but also begins looking like him, too. The feeling would be nothing short of surreal, right? It's like your favorite superhero has just stepped out of a movie. Something similar was witnessed when Linda (@lindadeck on TikTok), a new mom, shared a hilarious video of her daughter mistaking her father for Harry Potter.

In the now-viral video, the toddler was captured sitting comfortably on a couch while watching Harry Potter, and the moment she saw the protagonist on the screen, she pointed at the screen and called out, "Dada!" The very next minute, Linda, the baby girl's mother, raised her phone camera to reveal her partner, who, coincidentally, had a striking resemblance to Daniel Radcliffe, the English actor widely recognized for his role as Harry Potter. "This post speaks for itself," she further added in the video caption. While you all might be aware of the massive fanbase of Harry Potter movies across the world, an interesting survey was done by Statista, citing Laura Carollo. In the US, out of all respondents, 44% are avid fans and 53% are neutral fans, 3% of the population said they did not like the movie franchise.

Linda's video received an overwhelming response on TikTok, surpassing 11 million views online. Meanwhile, reacting to the clip, a user (@vannah0494) commented, "She's going to grow up thinking her dad was Harry Potter, and these are just home videos." Similarly, another user, who goes by @cc.chriiss, pointed out, "The fact that she’s pointing and sitting across from you all makes it hilarious!" Yet another person (@sadpygmypuff) revealed, "I used to think my dad looked like Harry Potter because he also has glasses. He’s a Japanese man." @stephssweetkitchen said, "I couldn’t have been the only one thinking it was going to be Daniel Radcliffe when she turned the camera." Likewise, @bluna9825 shared, "If Harry Potter is one of your favorite books, now we know why you married him."

On the other hand, a person (@adamsharp772) wrote, "Looks more like Tom Felton(Malfoy)but from a different reality where he played Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe)." @dailydoseof.tay revealed, "My daughter does this except it’s literally any Black or Brown woman — Princess Tiana, Moana, a picture of a random Black woman, etc." @zee912431 shared, "My husband is Italian. When my youngest was 2, she thought Mario was her daddy. Then he dressed up as Mario for Halloween, and she was even more confused after that!" On the other hand, someone else (@my.danlos) said, "My son did this to Kendrick Lamar at the halftime show. His dad is not Black. Clearly it's been a while since Dad's been around." @thenotsexylexi wrote, "At first I said okay, real, and then you showed him, and she wasn’t wrong."
