The shift in conditions has encouraged many women to choose when they want to take on motherhood. During the pandemic, even though the overall birth rate in the USA suffered a decline, it was reported that women in their 40s were more likely to become mothers, according to the NY Times. There are plenty of reasons for this trend, the first being the economic stability that women achieve at that age, which makes them capable of providing their children with all the amenities they desire without any form of dependence on others.
Still, there is a lot of social taboo around such a decision, but stories like that of Campbell are sure to inspire other women and also provide hope to those women who are struggling to achieve their dream of becoming mothers. The success story emphasizes that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Campbell also used social media to share the news of her daughter's arrival in the world two years ago. At that time she posted an image of herself holding her daughter's tiny feet with the caption, "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love." Nine months after announcing the arrival of her daughter, Campbell did a cover shoot with her for Vogue's March 2022 issue. In that issue, she talked about her life as a mother and her desire to take on that role.
She also clarified that her daughter was not adopted. In the issue she said, βIβm reliving nursery rhymes, playing and discovering how many great new toys there are out there in the world!" She shared about her wish to be a mother and said that she always knew she wanted that role but had no idea how satisfactory and joyous it was till, having her daughter.
