Buskers are street artists who perform in different parts of cities or travel across countries to earn a living through their music, but some people don't respect the talent and efforts behind that. One harpist from London who usually busks on the street side and earns from tips was targetted by one such rude woman who tried to spoil her day. But the talented young musician, who was accustomed to dealing with entitled strangers, knew how to avoid an argument with the woman who called her a beggar. Robyn (@robyn.hearts.harp on TikTok) is a harpist and she routinely posts herself playing her harp on the London sidewalks.

She has earned a loyal following of over 490,000 followers on TikTok and this particular video gained more than 12 million views and counting. In the video, it looks like just another day for Robyn who has set up her camera and harp to play at the sidewalk and record herself as usual. Then out of nowhere, a woman appears off-camera and starts accusing Robyn of begging on the streets. She even threatens to report the young musician to the city council.

Robyn continues to play "Careless Whisper" by George Michael on her harp, flashing a bright smile while responding to the entitled person who was interrupting her. The woman asks her if she has permission to play on the street or not. Robyn responds with a simple "yeah." Robyn continues to clarify that she is not begging and just playing music but the entitled woman doesn't seem to take the hint and be on her way. "Who asked you to? Did you get permission? If you weren't begging you would be playing music for free," the woman remarked once again.

Robyn stated that she is "technically playing it for free" but the other person can't seem to wrap her head around why she was getting paid for it in the tip jar. The young harpist tells her that people are giving her money because they want to but the rude woman doesn't budge from her point. The video concludes with Robyn masterfully playing the track on her harp as the other lady warns her that she can get arrested for playing music. On the other hand, her followers on TikTok couldn't seem to understand why would anyone hate the calming music of the harp and they left tons of comments in Robyn's support.

@projecthailmary wondered, "Bro how could anybody be upset at like the most peaceful instrument?" @issy_parr noted, "Is nobody acknowledging the fact that she continues to play fluently this entire time - queen behaviour." @pobedit remarked, "She’s jealous 'cause you’re young and beautiful and talented you stayed so calm. Well done." @smithfam8017 quipped, "Ok, the talent to play the harp, listen to someone bicker and politely respond is unmatched!"

@turaeng wrote, "This is so powerful the way you value yourself enough and nothing can ruin it. You inspired me. Sending hugs and love from my soul." @flahfyandfriends commented, "Busking is so hard, and people are impossible. I am so sorry. You play beautifully." Seems like Robyn had multiple encounters with people on the streets who thought she was begging and they didn't shy away from taunting her. In a second video which has amassed millions of views and likes, she shared her second encounter with another fellow who considered Robyn a beggar but she continues to play her music nonchalantly while ignoring people's audacity.
