Parenthood is a significant experience and it becomes a family affair when loved ones join in. There are also coincidences when multiple people in the family are expecting at the same time, which is mostly seen in movies. But this is exactly what happened when sisters Danielle and Samantha broke the exciting news to their parents, that they were both pregnant. The sisters posted a video on their shared Instagram account @schleesesisters where they decided to surprise their parents Sabine and Johen with the news that both of them were pregnant at the same time. The video was filmed in December 2023 when Sabine and Johen thought they were posing for a family portrait.

But before they could snap their first picture, Danielle revealed that Samantha was expecting. Sabine and Johen took a moment to register the news as Sabine just sat there smiling. But when the would-be granny finally figured out that she was getting a grandchild, she appeared to be overwhelmed with emotions and started to cry. Just when she was regaining her composure and posing for the family portrait once again, she got another surprise.

"Danielle is pregnant," Samantha exclaimed as Sabine broke into another round of tears and Johen did his little happy dance. The family hugged and celebrated as "Home” by Edward Shape and The Magnetic Zeros played in the background. The video was posted on their Instagram in March and it quickly gained a lot of traction among users who posted congratulatory comments. @sarah_fitz78 asked, "So freaking cute and fun! I wish I could’ve done this with my sister! How far apart are your due dates this time?" @xo_smileykylie wrote, "What I really love about this video is, that you gave each other time to celebrate with your parents separately. What a wonderful celebration!! Congratulations."

@pontai8181 added, "I cannot stop crying tears of joy for all of you as if I'm a family member or something!" According to TODAY, the sisters are also neighbors who live in houses on a 100-acre compound in Ontario, Canada. "We love watching the bonding relationships with our kids," Samantha told the outlet, adding that "she feels more like a mom than an aunt to her nephew." Samantha is married to her 36-year-old husband Jordan Rothery and they have a 2-year-old daughter together named Willow. Whereas Danielle and her fiance Gabe Mazza have a 2-year-old son named Wilder.

Currently, the sisters are expanding their little family at the same time as they are only due to deliver two weeks apart. The sisters have also arranged for Sabine and Johen to move into a house in their rural Ontario compound soon enough. “Our community of family is really growing,” Danielle told the outlet. The sisters have not publicly revealed the gender of their unborn children but they have revealed that Danielle is due on August 15 and Samantha on August 27 in 2024. “We’ll definitely be leaning on each other for support,” Samantha added about her sister and sharing the journey of motherhood together. “Motherhood can be quite lonely,” Danielle remarked. “It’s the best to be able to lean on each other emotionally and mentally.”
