Not everyone is lucky enough to find a friend in their partners, let alone gal pals. When Saskia Herd, @saskiakaterinaherd on TikTok, asked her boyfriend to try and act like "one of the girls," he summoned his inner girlie to chat with her about her day. The impeccable act put up by Christian Vierling caught the internet by surprise with his accurate body language and voice tone. With over 8.7 million views, the boyfriend stole hearts and left many viewers wanting more of his girlish persona.

Sitting in the car, Herd faces her partner and asks, “I’ve had a really rough week. Do you mind not being my boyfriend but, like, one of the girls for a second?” Vierling, who is midway enjoying his drink, takes one last sip before he channels his Mean Girl personality. He shakes his head to get his hair all messy over his face, and looks back at her with a strange look. “What’s up?” As the couple gets to chatting about Herd’s tough day, the boyfriend abruptly stops her to click a selfie. “Wait a second, shut up…ooh that lighting his good,” he mimics while ignoring his girlfriend’s pleas to be in the picture.

The gal pals then pretend to gossip about someone Vierling is dating while second-timing another guy. “What happened to Mike?” Herd plays along. To which he responds in his fake feminine voice, “He’s just like, I’m gonna keep him on the back burner, just like, in case something happens.” Unable to contain her laughter, Herd cracks up before moving on to a different conversation. The couple talks about a fictional Jennifer who is talking to a man Herd likes. “She’s been talking to Gabriel. My man. The one I was talking to,” she said.

Acing the perfect shock reaction, Vierling suggests that Jennifer’s behavior was not surprising. “Be for real right now? Are we shocked?” However, when Herd jokingly downplays herself, Vierling comforts her with an uplifting statement. “No! Oh my God. I would never say that. Seriously, no. I value this,” the boyfriend hyped her up. Finally, they wrap the discussion by being a little mean about Jennifer and her TikTok views whilst calling her “low-key ugly.” He said, “Jennifer’s like…she’s mad.” After his girlfriend agreed, Vierling continued his impersonation, “I was like, how do you even get that many views? Like, you’re low-key ugly.”

Their gossip was, however, interrupted midway by a call from the boyfriend’s therapist. “Who’s calling you?” Herd asks. “My God, it’s my therapist,” the boyfriend wraps up. Viewers swooned over the boyfriend’s hidden talent and received 1.9 million likes. “He is so Ryan Gosling,” @ksruiz wrote while @carrie.huggins lauded, “He understood the assignment.” Meanwhile, @fadhilitheone pointed out, "‘Be for real, are we shocked?’ Oh, give him the Oscar.”

A TikTok user @jolene_wright mused, “My stomach hurts so bad right now, I can’t stop laughing.” “He’s been waiting for this moment, and I’m here for it,” said @brookepaiigee. Similarly, @justjune7 added, “Please tell me these are improv, I can’t even. You guys are the best.” Another shocked viewer (@sohail.rahim) revealed, “He did that too well. I would be worried about him.”
