The mother was left speechless at first and tried to find logic in her demand. But the child's request left the internet in stitches.

Parenting is tricky, especially when your 3-year-old throws a tantrum asking for a husband. Tasha Mahachi, who goes by @tashamahachi on TikTok, earned her daughter the spotlight with a viral video of her stomping her feet and demanding her to find the kid a spouse. While the mom tried her best to tackle her demands with a gentle approach, her toddler, Sanaa, was barely convinced. By the end, Mahachi had to throw her a challenge that diffused her tantrum to an extent. Several other women related to Sanaa’s ask for a husband and admitted how they also wanted to reap the benefits without making an effort.

Mahachi was perplexed when her daughter came asking for a husband. Sanaa had overheard her speaking to someone referring to the kid’s father as her husband. Now, the baby girl wanted one too. “Where’s my husband?” the toddler inquired. The mom explained that she does not have one and might be too young for it, leaving Sanaa annoyed. She stomped her feet, saying, “I want a husband…A pink husband.” An interesting demand. Clueless about her sudden order, Mahachi ensured her daughter knew what a husband was. The kid did not have a concrete reason for her demand, as most kids are, but was adamant about it.

“I want a husband. Please. Please,” she cried.  Putting her foot down, the mom said, “You’re just a baby. No.” Sanaa was not to be coaxed and retorted, “No. I’m the big girl.” Mahachi, tired of her unreasonable request, threw a challenge at her daughter. She asked her to find a husband outside their home all by herself. “I’m not going outside. It’s dark,” the poor baby replied. When her mother gave her the option to find one in the morning, Sanaa had a better idea. “You want to go with me?” the toddler said. “I’m not coming with you to find a husband. I’ve already found my husband,” quipped the mom rather strictly.

Even Daddy’s option was scratched off, leaving Sanaa with no one but herself. Thinking hard about a solution, the toddler responded, chewing her hair, “I’m scared.”The viral video was liked by 53,000 people, and several comments discussed the baby’s demands. @healdeworld76 said, “All introverts, let’s gather here. We want a partner, but we ain’t going outside.” “We can all relate. To wanting a husband, to not wanting to go outside to find him, to being scared. Oh, baby, we get it!” reflected @beingjaejackson. Someone (@elegentalysculpted) suggested, “You need to use this on her wedding day.” “She’s probably going to get one before me at this rate,” joked @sabarrat. While @brithofamother agreed, “I’m scared is so accurate.”

Toddler behavior is largely influenced by the factors that impact their overall growth and development. Cara Kiff, PhD, a child and adolescent clinical psychologist at Golden State Neuropsychology in Calabasas, California, said, “Toddlers are shaped by their temperament (meaning what they bring to the world) and experience (meaning the makeup of their family, parents’ lifestyles, and culture), per The Bump
