Deciding on a good place to eat is a struggle that resonates with most couples. With so many choices available these days, this simple decision can become confusing, leaving you frustrated. However, one man's brilliant trick instantly helped his partner decide on a good place to eat, and the others can't wait to try it. The video clip was shared on the couple's TikTok page, Shae & Chris (@shaeandchris). The internet is loving the playful trick, which the man swears by.

The video shows Chris seated in his car as he proceeds to tell his wife to randomly guess where he plans to take her. At first, she seemed unsure, but eventually, she named one of her favorite spots. Chris then pretended to be surprised, as if he wasn't aware of his intentions. Shae's face instantly lights up with excitement when she realizes her husband is bringing her to her favorite place. Social media users are thanking the man for the idea, eager to try it on their partners.

One TikTok user, @whataboutluck1, commented, “This is a good one. Let me send this to my sister to send it to my husband.” Another person, @originspink7, wrote, “I wouldn't even be mad. Being manipulated into making a decision might be the only way I'll ever make one.” Adding to the above comments, @d.a.77_ chimed, “I’m going to try this. I can never get my lady to decide what to eat, and I never thought about this.” A few others also added their suggestions to make this trick even better.

@raven_the_vampire suggested, “No, you have to manipulate her whatever she says first, you say wrong, and you always go for her second or third guess, keep her on her tippy toes.” @myguykyky came up with another suggestion. “Then talk to text what she orders once you get there on your phone so you know what to get her next time. You’re welcome.” Sharing a different outcome, @fluffysubucni13 commented, “My boyfriend tries this all the time, but he knows I hate the guessing game. So, we still have a hard time figuring out where to go to eat.”

However, Chris wasn't the first one to use this clever trick to get his partner to decide what he wants to eat. A few months ago, another man on social media, Dave, tried the same trick by asking his wife, Janie, to guess where he was going to take her for lunch, teasing that it was a place she’d been talking about for weeks. But unlike the first couple, Janie was already familiar with the trick, apparently popular on the internet, and decided to play along. She asked Dave to name the place and its location, and he didn't have any answer. This exposed his plan, leaving viewers in stitches.
