Woman flew 6,000 miles for a second date — a bigger surprise awaited her when she reached

While people are busy swiping left and right on their potential suitors, a woman flew across continents to meet her Romeo. TikTok user, Grace Kelly (@graces__adventures), has become the talk of the town after traveling 6000 Miles, just to meet a guy for their second date. In an era of digital romance, this real-life story reminds us that true love is worth every mile.

Kelly met a man while she was hanging out at a hotel bar in Taiwan, where he had his own restaurant. As reported by the New York Post, detailing her fairytale love story, Kelly said, “That first night, we were enjoying each other’s company so much that we decided to stay up all night and make the most of the few hours we had." She continued, “We were literally talking about our ideal futures and living on a farm in Scotland with dogs and chickens, and goats within hours of meeting.”

When it was time for the bar to close, the man invited Kelly to his restaurant at midnight and won her over by making pasta from scratch! They had a great time together, but eventually Kelly's vacation had to end, and she had to fly back home. Despite the different time zones, they stayed in contact. However, Kelly felt their romance deserved a second date, so she booked her flight to Taiwan without thinking twice. She said, “I was so nervous going out there, but I’d arranged my own hotel just in case things didn’t go to plan." However, as soon as she reached there, her future boyfriend had already sent flowers to her hotel room. Kelly added, "He swooped me up as soon as the hotel elevator doors opened.”
Their story beautifully unfolded as Kelly's boyfriend later visited the U.K. to meet her, and eventually, they met each other’s families, too. Gushing about her partner, Kelly said, he is one of the most skilled, intelligent, funny, and down-to-earth men she has ever met. Reflecting on their relationship, she added, “We both rarely meet anyone who we click with this much and whose lifestyle matches each other so well.” Another aspect of this love story that makes it truly heartwarming is that the couple later found out that both of them had grown up in the U.K., staying just an hour away from each other.
